The problem

After-sales is where customer trust is won or lost. Returns, exchanges, warranty claims, tracking questions, support tickets, reviews, fraud signals, and recovery offers are not separate workflows in a customer's mind — they are moments where a merchant either earns the next order or loses the customer. Yet most stores run them through a patchwork: a returns app here, a helpdesk there, a tracking page, a review tool, a warranty system, a fraud checker — none of which share signals and none of which decide anything.

The result is that the work a merchant cares about most — the moments that decide whether a customer comes back — runs on manual review, at desk-hours speed, with the merchant as the bottleneck.

What we built

Eturns is one AI operator that reads the order, checks the merchant's policies, reviews the evidence, and takes the decision — approve, exchange, request more evidence, or escalate — with the merchant's reasoning trace visible at all times. It spans the full after-sales lifecycle: returns, exchanges, refunds, warranty claims, tracking, tickets, reviews, fraud, and post-purchase recovery offers, all sharing one signal system.

It is not a dashboard that tells you what to do. It is a co-worker that does the work within the boundaries you set — and shows its work on every single case.

How autonomy stays bounded

Every decision sits behind two gates: a confidence gate and a dollar gate (default $200). Nothing above the gate executes without merchant approval — no exceptions. Every call is logged with the model used, the prompt hash, the retrieved context, the tool calls, the final action, the dollar amount affected, and the reasoning trace.

The agent never auto-blocks customers. Fraud signals surface to the merchant, who decides. Confidence calibration improves per merchant over time, but the gates are yours.
